The club is non-profit and family oriented.
A.P.A. club activities include monthly meetings, monthly “cruise” nights, joint participation in activities of other clubs, The SPRING A.P.A. car show, major involvement in the Houston Autorama, various other club activities, and an annual awards banquet.

Meetings
are held on the first Tuesday night of each month at the Hickory Hollow Restaurant, 101 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77007-3728. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. Directions click here.

Join Up
If your a Pontiac enthusiast and want to join up, feel free to show up at one of our meetings, first Tuesday of each month, see the find us section below for more detail. Dues are $24.00 a year. An application can be found here. Its a big file so please be patient. Print and review the application and mail it to address listed on the form. The form will be reviewed if you are accepted you will be notified and asked for your annual dues, or better yet bring it to a meeting. Get directions to our meetings at the Hickory Hollow on Heights Blvd, first Tuesday evening of every month here.

Spring Car Show
Spring Car shows once a year the guys shine up their rides and bring them to beautiful Galveston,Tx. Pier 21, Harbor House Hotel. Its an open car show open to all makes and models and it benefits the Diabetes association. The shows are always a big event bringing cars from throughout the region.

AUTORAMA
Houston AUTORAMA. The history between the American Pontiac Association car club and AUTORAMA began in the year 1979 as the South Texas Pontiac club. If you`ve ever been to AUTORAMA you have noticed the abundance of car club displays, that is 6-8 cars from the same car club together with a theme. Well in 1979 the soon to be “American Pontiac Association” club started the tradition and competition between the clubs and their displays see complete story here

Tom Broaddus
was one of the first members of this club,back when it was the South Texas Pontiac Club Exclusive. Tom passed away in the early 1980`s, and was honored with a full Pontiac funeral procession. Each year a member is given this award for their outstanding contributions to the club.The trophy is kept for one year and then passed on to the next recipient. See complete story here.
